Small brands, Big Stories.

Because Ocado are an online grocer it means we can take a chance on the exciting up and coming brands. Small suppliers means taste-makers, game-changers, innovators.

As we researched we realised they are not just making another product, they are changing industries and creating things in world-saving ways. I.e. Islands' Chocolate (zero deforestation), Holos Kombucha - providing work for survivors of slavery in a safe and sensitive way and Chika's - donating profits to a womens' education programme in Nigeria.

If that doesn't deserve an aisle, I don't know what does.

For this we had Luke on design, Jonathan on copy and myself on art direction. I took charge on the presentation creation, the scamping, the pitching of the concepts and how the L&F and choice of images could convey that story and the hours of crafting and love poured into these products, as well as things like inputting a moveable ink banner for CRM to capture a customer on an email.
